In a significant development for fans of Rohit Shetty's renowned cop universe, the acclaimed director is set to make his debut in the world of digital streaming. The popular franchise, famous for its high-octane Bollywood cop films, is taking its first steps into the OTT realm with Indian Police Force. This seven-episode series is scheduled for release on Amazon Prime Video on January 19, 2024.
While Rohit Shetty had started shooting the show back in 2022 and wrapped it up by early 2023, fans had been waiting to know when they can witness the series unfold on their screens. Well, the wait is over now as Sidharth Malhotra announced the release date of the show on Saturday, which also happens to be the Police Commemoration Day.
Taking to his Instagram page, the Shershaah actor shared a new poster of the series and said in its caption that the location is clear and the target is locked. "Force Incming! Reporting for #RohitShetty cop universe, armed and prepared to strike!".
